Against Napoli, he showed glimpses of what he`s capable of, but it`s clear his physical condition is not yet optimal, and he still needs more training to reach peak form. Despite the moments he produced, he still has room for improvement.
Allegri`s Take on Leao`s Condition
Massimiliano Allegri himself stated after the match against Napoli at San Siro: “This team has very technically gifted players. Leao is still behind in terms of condition; in fact, he played even too much due to the demands of the game. We have valid alternatives. The important thing is that the common goal for each of us is one: to play in the Champions League next year.”
Aiming for Juventus
