Renato Miele, a former Lazio player and now a lawyer, has initiated an appeal to the Federal Football Court concerning the ineligibility of Malagò. Miele’s own bid for the presidency of the Italian Football Federation (FIGC) was disallowed because he failed to receive accreditation from one of the FIGC’s constituent bodies.
