Samuele Ricci has officially completed his transfer to AC Milan, signing his new contract today after successfully passing his medical tests and obtaining sports eligibility this morning.
Leaving Casa Milan, the midfielder appeared happy and excited. Before departing with his family, he commented on the signing to the reporters present: “I am very happy. Greetings to everyone and Forza Milan,” were the player`s first words. During his time at the Rossoneri headquarters, the former Torino player also had the opportunity to meet the new coach, Massimiliano Allegri, who was present to discuss preparations for the upcoming season and ongoing transfer market negotiations with sporting director Igli Tare.
The transfer operation from Torino cost the RedBird-owned club a total of 24.5 million euros. This fee includes a fixed amount of 23 million euros plus potential bonuses of 1.5 million euros linked to performance and team objectives. The agreement also includes a 10% clause on any potential future resale. Ricci has signed a four-year contract with an option for a fifth season in favor of the Rossoneri club.
