Match Highlights from Serie B Week 7
Carrarese returned to winning ways after six matchdays, dominating Juve Stabia with a clear 3-0 victory. Schiavi opened the scoring from a penalty, followed by Hasa and Zanon, who sealed Juve Stabia`s first league defeat. The visiting team was weakened by the absences of key forwards Gabrielloni and Candellone due to injury.
A dramatic finish unfolded at the Druso stadium between Sudtirol and Empoli. Nasti, making his seasonal debut for the Tuscans, scored the decisive winning goal in the 97th minute, securing a 1-2 victory for Empoli. Despite Kofler`s early red card in the 5th minute, Sudtirol had initially taken the lead with Pecorino. However, Shpendi equalized for Empoli in the second half, setting the stage for Nasti`s late heroics.
