
FK Sarajevo has officially announced the signing of Stefan Ristovski, an experienced right-back from North Macedonia. The player joins from Croatian side Dinamo Zagreb, where he notably served as captain. Ristovski has signed a contract with Sarajevo that runs until the summer of 2027, with an option for an additional season.
The 32-year-old Ristovski boasts a decorated career, having secured 13 trophies across his time in Croatia and Portugal with prominent clubs such as Sporting CP and Dinamo Zagreb. On the international stage, he has earned 81 caps for North Macedonia, including participation in the Euro 2020 tournament. Beyond his recent achievements, Sarajevo`s new acquisition also brings extensive experience from Italian football: between 2011 and 2016, he played for various clubs including Parma (who first brought him to Italy in 2010), Crotone, Frosinone, Bari, Latina, and Pescara, accumulating numerous appearances in both Serie A and Serie B.
This rich experience has contributed significantly to his tactical and mental development, shaping him into a complete, reliable, and mature player. His arrival is considered a major boost for the Bosnian club, adding valuable quality, character, and leadership to an ambitious squad looking ahead to upcoming domestic and international competitions.
