A.C. Bra is proud and delighted to announce Stefano Sorrentino as their new technical director. The club, recently promoted to Serie C, confirmed the appointment of the former goalkeeper, born in 1979. Sorrentino is well-known for his career in Serie A with teams like Torino, Chievo Verona, and Palermo, and also had international experience with AEK Athens and Recreativo Huelva. He is a figure who requires no introduction in the football world.
His immense love and deep passion for the game have consistently inspired him to approach his various roles with strong personality, determination, and professionalism. Beyond his new position, Sorrentino currently manages his own academy for goalkeepers and serves as a sports commentator on television. Starting today, he officially takes up his responsibilities with the Bra club. His role will involve serving as a crucial link between the club`s management, head coach Fabio Nisticò, and sporting director Ettore Menicucci. He was present at the team`s gathering and first training session this afternoon at the Attilio Bravi stadium. Welcome to Stefano!
For the former shot-stopper, this move marks a return to the Piedmont region. From 2022 to 2023, he served as the owner of Serie D club Chieri, which was managed at the time by his father, Roberto Sorrentino.
