Preview Ternana Owner Stefano Bandecchi Clashes with Fans: “I’m Waiting For Your Money”

Stefano Bandecchi, the Mayor of Terni and involved with the football club Ternana, has publicly vented his frustration with the team`s supporters on social media. He sharply criticized fan comments, using strong language. He issued a direct challenge, stating, “What the hell do you have in your brain? Do one thing, if you want to save Ternana, come to the Municipality and bring the salary you have in your pocket.”

Bandecchi emphasized the club`s urgent financial needs: “A million is needed by Tuesday; twenty days ago one point two million was needed, and we found it thanks to the advance I paid. I left you stupid and I find you even more idiotic. You know where to find me. I`m waiting for your money to save Ternana Calcio. As for the rest, go f*** yourselves as always.” He continued his rant, adding, “Keep being worth nothing, as you always have been. Meanwhile, I`m trying to cover your backs. I hope I was CLEAR.”

He also commented on the team`s performance and cost, noting, “If the team had been unbeatable, they would have won the championship. They cost almost 11 million and lost against a team that cost two. Having said that, everything passes, only the shirt remains.”

The Ternana Club Statement

“In order to prepare Ternana Calcio for a transfer of ownership that will allow the new entity to operate in the best possible way and in full autonomy in the upcoming seasons, Mr. Carlo Mammarella, in his role as Sports Director, will begin from today, Sunday, June 29, to propose the current squad and staff of Ternana to other teams. The ultimate goal is to allow the new corporate structure to act in perfect autonomy.

This operation is being carried out out of respect for the citizenry, the fanbase, and the glorious shirt of Ternana Calcio.”
