Last Friday, Ternana`s sporting director, Carlo Mammarella, provided an update on player departures from the club. This update was specifically requested by owner Stefano D`Alessandro with potential sales in mind. Here`s what Mammarella stated:
“We have freed the upcoming Ternana team from significant wages like those of Vallocchia, Millico, and Casasola. Other deals are also in progress, such as those for Capuano and Donnarumma. I`ve spoken personally with the players involved, not just their agents. Capuano, our captain, understands how important he is to the team. However, there are contracts and offers that can represent unique, once-in-a-lifetime opportunities for these young men. While I can try to persuade them up to a certain point, ultimately their own will also plays a crucial role.”
