Triestina is currently in a state of significant disarray. “Daniele is a person of integrity, I greatly enjoyed working with him, I want to make sure he knows that, and he does know it. I have offered many times to let him out of his contract if he ever wanted to leave, and I support him. I don`t want to keep anyone against their will. Whoever doesn`t want to stay is free to leave, so those are ongoing conversations, and I cannot speculate on what will happen.”
So, who might replace him if the departure occurs? The main candidate being considered is Morris Donati, who previously left the club last September. The parties are reportedly in contact, so all that remains is to await the potential development of the situation.
