Uli Hoeneß, il presidente onorario del Bayern Monaco, ha recentemente condiviso le sue opinioni sulle mosse di mercato del club in un`intervista a BR24 Sport. “Abbiamo ancora tempo fino alla fine di agosto. Il caso Woltemade è ancora in sospeso,” ha affermato Hoeneß. “Lo considero un giocatore molto, molto bravo, che sarebbe perfetto per noi. Sarei molto contento se si concretizzasse quest`anno, altrimenti l`anno prossimo.”
Nico Williams: Una Sorpresa Inattesa
Hoeneß ha anche commentato la situazione di Nico Williams, il quale ha da poco rinnovato il contratto con l`Athletic Club, chiudendo di fatto le speculazioni su un suo possibile trasferimento al Bayern.
“Non sarà il nostro obiettivo principale l`anno prossimo; è finita,” ha spiegato Hoeneß. “Siamo stati tutti sorpresi. Sono in stretto contatto con Hansi Flick, che attualmente è in vacanza a Tegernsee, e anche loro sono rimasti sorpresi, perché avevano più o meno già un impegno.”
Il presidente onorario ha poi aggiunto una critica sulla logica dietro alcune decisioni dei giocatori in merito ai contratti:
“Non capisco bene cosa voglia. Ma, secondo me, alcuni vogliono solo più soldi. Aveva un costo di trasferimento di 60 milioni, e ora stanno cercando di ottenere di più l`anno prossimo.”

“We still have time until the end of August. Woltemade`s situation is still open,” Hoeneß stated. “I consider him a very, very good player, who would be perfect for us. I would be very happy if it works out this year, otherwise next year.”

“He won`t be our main target next year; that chapter is closed,” Hoeneß explained. “We were all surprised. I am in close contact with Hansi Flick, who is currently on vacation in Tegernsee, and they were also surprised, as they had a sort of commitment.”
The honorary president then added a critique on the logic behind some players` contract decisions:
“I don`t quite understand what he wants. But, in my opinion, some simply want more money. He had a transfer fee of 60 million, and now they are trying to get more next year.”
