
Venezia FC has announced the signing of Spanish forward Antonio Casas. The striker joins the recently promoted Serie A club on a free transfer after his contract with Cordoba FC expired on June 30th. Casas has put pen to paper on a long-term deal, committing to Venezia until the end of the 2027/28 season.
Casas, who came through the youth ranks of Real Madrid and Atletico Sevilla, moved to Cordoba FC in the 2021/22 season. Over four seasons with the Spanish club, he made 150 appearances, scoring a total of 51 goals and providing 10 assists. The forward also has one international cap for the Spain Under 19 national team.
