Unable to sit on the bench due to his suspension, the Rossoneri coach opted for an unconventional vantage point: instead of a stadium box or the VIP stand, he chose the press box to observe the game and communicate with his team.

Massimiliano Allegri, absent from the Milan bench against Udinese due to a red card in the previous match (with assistant Marco Landucci filling in, a role he`d previously taken in a Coppa Italia fixture), experienced the game from the media section at Bluenergy Stadium. Contrary to expectations that he might occupy a more exclusive area like a Sky Box or the executive stand, Allegri settled into the last row of the press box, a spot typically occupied by Aldo Dolcetti, a long-standing member of his staff. From there, the coach demonstrated intense and passionate involvement, giving instructions to his players, sometimes loudly and with animated gestures, almost as if he believed he could be heard directly. It is widely speculated that Dolcetti, present on the bench, acted as an intermediary, relaying Allegri`s directives to Landucci. His visible exuberance, marked by shouts of frustration and even a couple of frustrated pounds on the table, did not go unnoticed, capturing the attention of both media representatives and nearby fans in the central stand. Many were surprised to see him interacting so closely with the press environment. During halftime, Allegri re-entered the stadium but, due to his suspension, was naturally not permitted access to the changing rooms. He reappeared shortly before the game resumed, once again in the press box, continuing his “show”: nervous pacing, wild arm gesticulations, and an elevated voice, completely immersed in the match despite goals from Fofana and a Pulisic brace. Truly an exceptional “journalist,” but with Max`s characteristic passion and fire.
