The fourth-place finish inevitably leaves some disappointment, especially after a match again decided by penalties. Coach Nicola Matteucci noted the saddest part is seeing the girls upset. He stated, "We deserved this final; we came to play it with great heart and competitiveness. We couldn't close it out in 90 minutes or 120, and then penalties become a lottery. This tournament showed the team's value and our players' caliber: they are reliable girls who never betray expectations, giving their all, not just technically but also humanly," the coach concluded.
