Silvio Baldini, head coach of the Italy Under 21 national team, warmly praised his young players, calling them a "divine gift" for any coach. Speaking on the eve of their crucial match against North Macedonia in Empoli, Baldini expressed profound admiration for his squad's spirit and professionalism. "They are stupendous, wonderful guys who genuinely enjoy being together," he declared. "You can see they are eager to grow, they laugh, joke, and maintain a positive attitude, all while being incredibly professional. For a coach, it's truly a divine gift."

Analyzing the upcoming opponent, Baldini cautioned that "in modern football, there are no easy matches." He described North Macedonia as a tactically disciplined team, typically lining up in a 4-4-2 formation with two forwards – one acting as a main striker and the other as a secondary forward. "They utilize wide players who actively seek deep runs from long passes. They certainly possess their own technical qualities, but the outcome will largely depend on how we approach and confront them," he added.

Alongside Coach Baldini at the press conference, AC Milan defender Davide Bartesaghi shared his insights. "We've trained exceptionally well over the past few days," he stated. "I personally feel I have more confidence and experience compared to our first training camp in September. As a team, we are strong and full of self-belief."
