Juventus midfielder Manuel Locatelli has shared his emotional response to his recent surgery for an external meniscus tear in his right knee, which will sideline him for five to six months. "I won't lie, I won't use clichés. I'm devastated," Locatelli stated in a social media message. He added, "I finished the match the other night and never expected to be hit with all of this the morning after. The operation went well, and that's very important. Now I'll have to stop for a while, and it hurts to think about not being able to help my teammates, not being able to fight with them for this jersey. It will take patience, but I will do everything I can to come back at my best, as I always have."

The Bianconeri player concluded his message by reflecting on life's challenges: "Life is also made up of these moments, it's up to us to decide how to face them. I will fight as always, nurturing the desire to return to the field as soon as possible every day. Thank you for the support," Locatelli said.
